MotoMove Australia is a family owned and operated vehicle transport business based in Toowoomba, Queensland. We move motorcycles, quads, buggies, jet skis and golf carts, picking up and delivering them across Australia. This policy explains what information we collect from you through the quote form on this website, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to fix or delete it.
When you fill in the free quote form, you can give us your name, your mobile phone number, the collection location (suburb and state), the delivery location (suburb and state), the make and model of the machine, its condition, what we are moving, and any notes you add about keys, spares, boxes or access. You do not have to fill in every field, but the fields marked as required help us give you a useful quote.
We use your details only to work out a price for your transport, to plan the pickup and delivery, to contact you about your job, and to carry the machine safely from where it is to where it is going. We do not use your information for any other purpose without your permission.
Your information stays inside MotoMove Australia. It is seen by the people in our family business who plan and run your transport, and by the driver who collects and delivers your machine. We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone else. We only share what is needed to complete your transport, such as with the dealer or workshop you ask us to deliver to.
We keep your details for as long as we need them to run your transport and to answer any questions about the job. After that, we keep records only as long as we need them for our own accounting, and then we delete or destroy them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will do so unless we still need them for a reason allowed by law.
You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete your details, at any time. Just phone or text us on 0439 294 828 or email motomoveaust@gmail.com and we will fix or remove your information as soon as we can.
We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988. Those principles cover how we collect, use, store and share your information, and they give you the right to ask for access to it and to ask us to fix or delete it. If you have a concern about how we have handled your details, please contact us first and we will try to sort it out. You also have the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
